Camera Recording Policy

Every inspection visit we make is recorded on a body camera. This is not standard practice in the sector, so we set out openly, on a page of its own, what is recorded and how.

This is a courtesy translation. In the event of any discrepancy, the Turkish text of these documents prevails.

1. Why do we record?

The recording serves three purposes: (a) evidence of when and how any damage to the property occurred, (b) verification that the checklist was carried out in full, (c) protection of the employee entering your home against unfounded accusations.

The recording is kept for the mutual security of the owner and the employee. It is not used for marketing, training or any other purpose.

2. What is recorded?

  • Recording starts when the officer enters the property and ends when they leave
  • Recording is silent by default — video only
  • When something needs explaining, the officer briefly turns the microphone on, says what they are doing and turns it off again — for example: “There is a leak here; we have sealed it with a washer for now and will ask for your approval for a permanent repair”
  • The recording carries a date, time and GPS stamp
  • At the owner's request, specific rooms can be excluded; that request is written into the contract
  • Neighbouring properties and public areas are deliberately not filmed

3. Retention and deletion

Recordings are kept for 30 days and deleted automatically at the end of that period. Where there is a dispute, an insurance claim or legal proceedings, only the relevant recording is kept until the process concludes, and the owner is informed.

4. Access rights

  • Only the operations manager and authorised audit staff can access recordings
  • Every access is logged with the person's identity and the date
  • The owner can request the recording of their own property at any time, and it is sent to them
  • Recordings are not shared with third parties; they are provided to the authorities only where legally required

5. Employee data

Recordings contain the image of our employee, and their voice at the moments when a spoken note is made. Our employees are informed of this practice under their employment contract, and recordings are not used for performance monitoring.

6. Third parties

If a third party is present at the property during the visit (a tradesperson, a neighbour, a courier), that person is informed verbally about the recording. For third parties who do not wish to be recorded, recording is paused and this is noted in the report.

7. Your rights

All your rights under KVKK art. 11 in respect of recordings are reserved. You may request deletion of a recording, ask for a copy, or choose to receive the service without camera recording. If you do not want recording, you need only say so at the contract stage.

⚠️ Pre-launch note

This text is a template. Because camera recording processes employee data, customer data and third-party data, it must be reviewed by a lawyer before publication, and the VERBİS registration and the required explicit-consent texts must be completed.
